Stephen grew up between Cheung Chau and Tai O on Lantau Island, with generations of family in both places. Born to a British mother and Hong Kong father, he offers a natural East-meets-West perspective on the city’s culture, history and everyday life. He is fluent in English and Cantonese, and brings a particular love of Lantau, local food, the outdoors and the stories that make Hong Kong distinct.
Stephen is especially experienced with larger private groups, including multigenerational families, school and university groups, corporate teams and special-interest travellers. He combines engaging storytelling with calm, practical organisation—adapting itineraries, managing timing and logistics, and making sure every guest feels included—while keeping the day personal rather than one-size-fits-all.
He is equally at home creating flexible family days, in-depth cultural explorations and private Lantau adventures. A trained photographer and videographer, Stephen also captures natural photos and video highlights along the way, so guests leave with both a deeper connection to Hong Kong and lasting memories of their time together.
