Laura is one of our expert guides, combining a lifelong connection to Hong Kong with a passion for its stories, people and food. Having lived in the city basically her whole life (since she was four years old), she draws on deep personal experience to bring its neighbourhoods and history vividly to life, with a special interest in how what we eat reflects Hong Kong’s cultural identity. She is also our go‑to specialist for Jewish heritage tours, guiding guests through synagogues, historic cemeteries and the lesser-known chapters of Hong Kong’s Jewish community. In addition to guiding, Laura is the Chairperson of Hong Kong Players, one of the city’s longest-running community theatre groups, and a consummate quiz mistress who somehow finds time to host around two pub quizzes a week in her spare time!
